Electrotech Australia, Insitec merge to create Sovereign Capability Group

Electrotech Australia has merged with Insitec to form the Sovereign Capability Group (SCG), aiming to reach $100 million in revenue this year. Facilitated by Whiteoak, the merger creates a larger entity to support the Australian Defence Force and expand into international markets.

The merger is expected to enhance sovereign capabilities for the Australian Defence Force by combining expertise from both companies. It also brings operational benefits, allowing for the delivery of comprehensive solutions and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. SCG will target both defence and commercial markets, strengthening relationships with key clients.

VCF Capital acted as financial advisor on the recapitalisation
by Whiteoak Growth Fund and merger with Electrotech Australia to create Sovereign Capability Group.
